Mass in the Grass and Cook-out

St. Thomas parishioners enjoyed "Mass in the Grass" and a cookout at the home of Lisa and Navell Spivey on Sunday, August 5. In addition to the Eucharistic and cook-out feasts, a "Blessing of the Backpacks" marked the beginning of the local school year in Campbellsville. The blessing liturgy included not only backpacks, but their owners, teachers, and school staff from both local school systems, Campbellsville University, and Lindsay Wilson College.

"Chowing down" at the Spiveys-as St. Thomas folks enjoy a great meal and wonderful fellowship.
